| Engine Two is a 2007 Spartan/Crimson rescue pumper.
This unit replaced a 1971 Maxim pumper. Engine Two carries
1,000 gallons of water, a 1,500 gallon per minute pump, 1,200
feet of four inch supply line, six pre-connect attack lines, a
pre-piped deck gun, and a hydraulic generator.
Up to six firefighters can be accommodated in the enclosed cab.
In addition to a full compliment of firefighting equipment,
Engine Two also carries rescue equipment to handle a variety of
emergency situations. Hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, and
manual hand tools are onboard to extricate victims after a motor
vehicle accident. Equipment to handle medical emergencies and hazardous materials incidents
are also onboard. Engine Two is the second due engine for all
fire alarms and is the first due engine for car accidents,
hazmat incidents, and rescue scenes. |
